There’s Still Ice Cream!

We would scream to get ice cream!

No worries—you can still get a frozen treat at Story and Lorain Roads. East Coast Custard is relocating down the street, but The Emerald Necklace Inn is pleased to announce that it is offering ice cream and frozen yogurt from Pierre’s Ice Cream daily from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. It will be available by the cup, cone, or in a sundae.

Several seasonal flavors will be offered as well as premium coffee and loose-leaf teas. The favorite flavor at The Emerald Necklace is Pierre’s infamous and ever-popular Emerald Necklace—a mint ice cream with fudge and crumbled chocolate cream cookies.

Since 1999, Gloria Cipri Kemer has been the owner of The Emerald Necklace Inn, formerly a 150-year old general store that sits atop a bluff and overlooks the Rocky River Reservation. Over the years, Gloria has transformed this lovely setting into a bed & breakfast and tearoom. Take a walk, ride your bike or just drive on over to The Emerald Necklace Inn at 18840 Lorain Road in Fairview Park.

“Overall, my goal is to keep the community coming to this corner for ice cream, coffee and tea and for the enjoyment of the gardens and the nearby gateway into the Metropark valley," said Gloria.
