RR Businesses Contribute to WVIZ/PBS Auction

The 49th annual WVIZ/PBS Live Televised Auction airs Thursday, April 28 to Sunday, May 1 (3 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Thursday and Friday, and noon until 1 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday).

Thanks to the generosity of area merchants, goods and services with a Rocky River flair and focus will be featured in special Destination segments on Saturday, April 30 at noon and Sunday, May 1 at 6 p.m. on the televised auction. Presenting the Rocky River Destination Boards on the air will be Bill Brink, General Manager, Beachcliff Market Square, and Liz Manning, Director, Rocky River Chamber of Commerce.

Special Rocky River wares and experiences up for bid include items and gift cards from the following Rocky River-area attractions, restaurants and businesses: Belle Soiree, Brown Aveda Institute, Century Cycles, Charles Scott Salons & Spas, Cleveland Plumbing Supply, Dr. Scott Shapiro, Drellishak's Service Center, Erie Island Coffee Co., Fresco Mexican Grille, Maison by Paysage, Mitchell Sotka, Ltd., The Olive Scene, Pearl of the Orient West, Pizza Fire, Pure Enchantment, Stino Da Napoli Restaurant, Tartine Bistro and Tomorrows Salon.

The community can participate by calling 216-578-2525 or 866-393-2525 or by bidding online at wviz.org/auction. All proceeds benefit WVIZ/PBS ideastream programming and public service.

WVIZ/PBS Auction organizers are still accepting donations of art, antiques and collectibles. Donors receive valuable on-air TV promotion, and donations are tax-deductible. Information is available by calling 216-916-6154 or visiting wviz.org/auction/donate-items.
